In 1906, KINEX a.s. began its work in the city of Bitcha. Bytca.

By 1950, two more plants (KINEX-KLF and KINEX-Skalica) appeared on the territory of Slovakia. Ten years later, the name KINEX is officially registered as a trademark.

Plants specialize in the production of balls and ball bearings, and eventually also launch a line for the production of roller bearings and rollers for them. In 1959, the company made a huge step forward, starting production of bearings for axles of rolling stock. Kinex still holds the leading position in this niche.

In 1965, all three plants become part of a large holding "Group ZVL". Double-row bearings are being produced.

After the collapse of Czechoslovakia in the 90s of the last century, KINEX plants left the Group ZVL.

In 2001, after the modernization of the two plants and the closure of the line in Skalitz, a new holding company was formed - HTC HOLDING a.s.

Kinex products are ISO 9001: 2000 and GOST 520-2003 certified, which is an indicator of high quality both by European standards and by CIS standards.
