Application
51240M is a single direction thrust ball bearing with a machined brass cage (suffix M). It consists of two flat rings (a shaft ring and a housing ring) and a set of balls in the cage. It belongs to the 512xx series.Dimensions: Inner diameter 200 mm, outer diameter 280 mm, height 58 mm.Purpose: Designed exclusively for taking very high axial loads acting in one direction, at relatively low speeds. It does not accommodate radial loads.Features: The M designation (machined brass cage) indicates increased durability, suitable for higher temperatures and speeds compared to standard counterparts. The separable design simplifies mounting.Application: Used in large, heavily loaded assemblies such as powerful mechanical jacks, vertical shafts of large industrial gearboxes, hydraulic presses, and crane equipment.
