Application
51408 is a single direction thrust ball bearing. It consists of two flat rings (a shaft ring and a housing ring) and a set of balls in a cage. It belongs to the extra heavy 514xx series, providing maximum axial load capacity.Dimensions: Inner diameter 40 mm, outer diameter 100 mm, height 42 mm.Purpose: Designed exclusively for taking extremely high axial loads acting in one direction, at relatively low speeds. It does not accommodate radial loads.Features: Characterized by the maximum load capacity among thrust ball bearings for this shaft diameter. The separable design simplifies mounting.Application: Used in heavily loaded assemblies, such as powerful mechanical jacks, vertical shafts of large industrial gearboxes and presses, where maximum thrust support is required.
