Application
It is a needle bearing (with long cylindrical rollers) with a single stamped outer ring, whereby the inside diameter is reported as the diameter of the shaft seat. Such bearings are also called “splitting bearings” and are used in units with very limited space, where a high radial load acts. Their rotational speed is not very high. The main rule when mounting bearings of this design is in no case to allow misalignment of the shaft and seat. For best performance, it is recommended to use a liquid-consistency lubricant.
