Application
Rings universal thin AS series for axial cylindrical and needle roller bearings. They are also called raceway washers. Bearing washers are required when adjacent machine components cannot serve as raceways. AS series washers can be used as a shaft washer (for AXK or AXW series thrust roller assemblies) or a body washer (for AXK series thrust roller assemblies) Due to all possible combinations, the corresponding washers must be ordered separately. The AS series thrust washers are made of spring steel and are 1 mm thick. The hardened and polished sides of these washers can be used as raceways. If adjacent machine components are not hardened but have sufficient rigidity and moderate accuracy requirements, AS series washers can be used to provide an economical bearing design.
