Application
Cylindrical roller thrust bearings are rolling bearing units that carry highly dynamic axial loads. Cylindrical roller thrust bearings can be used where the load capacity of the thrust needle roller and cage assemblies is insufficient. In addition, bearings can take high dynamic and static axial loads in one direction, but they are not suitable for transmitting radial loads. Cylindrical roller thrust bearings, sizes 811 and 812, consist of a cylindrical roller thrust and cage assembly (K), a shaft washer (WS) and a housing washer (GS). Provided that the bearing surfaces can be hardened and ground, they can be used as raceways for cylindrical rollers and a cage (K), resulting in a compact bearing arrangement. These bearings use molded 6/6 fiberglass reinforced nylon cages (TVP suffix) or machined light metal cages (LPB suffix). Reinforced nylon cages can be used at temperatures up to 120 C continuously for long periods of time. Shaft washers types WS.811 and WS.812, as well as housing washers types GS.811 and GS.812 are made of quality bearing steel - with hardened, precision ground and lapped surfaces of the raceways.
