Application
The TUP1 bearing material has a multi-layered structure. Its core is a steel layer to which a porous bronze layer is thermally bonded. This bronze layer is fully impregnated and interwoven with a polymer material (Teflon). The working surface is coated with a thin polymer layer with a thickness of only about 0.01–0.03 mm. This bearing is capable of operating effectively in a wide temperature range: from -195 to +280 °C.
