Double row ball bearing cam followers are ready-to-mount rolling bearings based on double row deep groove or angular contact ball bearings. They have particularly thick-walled outer rings with a spherical or cylindrical outer surface, which allowswithstand high radial and axial loads in both directions due to small displacement defects, misalignment or temporary contact shocks. The thickened outer surface prevents edge stresses during misalignment. Track rollers with a convex outer surface are used where misalignment relative to the mating guide is possible.
