Bearing В17-99 - bearing widely used in generators. By design, it is a single-row ball radial, covered with plastic caps. Dimensions: inner diameter 17 mm, outer diameter 52 mm, height (width) 17 mm. Filled with grease for the entire period of operation. It is protected by rubber plugs from moisture, dust and other external contaminants. They also prevent leakage of lubricant. It is not recommended to remove the covers and use the bearing open. This leads to a breach of the integrity of the internal environment and deterioration of the bearing performance up to its failure. In order to avoid the conflict of lubricant it is forbidden to add lubricant.
Mainly found bearing marking B17-99. However, some manufacturers label it as: 806078 FAG channel video   , 6304 d17 B17 2RS FERSA, B17-99 DDW8CG16E NSK, B3043-2RDA KML.
The bearing number is stamped on the rubber caps and/or on the end of the inner/outer ring.

It is used as a generator bearing in Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda cars. Also used in Bosch generators, in particular Bosch IR/EF, IR/IF Alternators (D.E.); Ford 6G Series IR/IF Alternators (D.E.).
