Bearing 684 rs refers to miniature. It measures 4x9x4 mm, which makes it wider than the open analog (684) with a width of 2.5 mm. This should be taken into account when buying - in some cases it is impossible to replace an open bearing with a closed one. By type is a radial ball with a single row of rolling elements. Rubber plugs prevent ingress of moisture and dust into the internal cavity, at the same time protecting it from leakage of grease. It is made at the factory, adding or replacing it is not strongly recommended: in this case, the manufacturer cannot guarantee the normal operation of the product.

In the GOST system, there is a bearing with the same dimensions and a metal washer - 3080084. Also, depending on the manufacturer, the possible variants of the name: low-cost marked 618/4 2RS (CX Poland), and premium products are labeled 684 2RS (EZO Japan).
